I don't necessarily think these people are spoiled they just never were taught any etiquette! You can have nice things enjoy them for yourself and be humble. People see nice things whether you wear them or they are in your home. People notice, they aren't blind. You don't have to wave it in the air saying 'look at me look at me!!'Carterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11320750259322380129noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2885272557817480838.post-40092476382474109832011-12-27T20:01:33.331-05:002011-12-27T20:01:33.331-05:00Ugh, so agree! It's not about the presents anyway. It's about family and that wonderful Christmas feeling you get.

And, you're absolutely right--working hard and earning something is so fulfilling. :)

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Hugs to you!The Frisky Virginhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03782384806427143829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2885272557817480838.post-78330368034177961912011-12-27T04:25:52.791-05:002011-12-27T04:25:52.791-05:00I totally agree with you. There are a lot, a lot, ...I totally agree with you. There are a lot, a lot, A LOT, of things that people write on facebook that we frankly don't care about. Don't get me started on pointless status updates.

Yeah, present-bragging on social networks isn't cool. End of story.

Best wishes from one blogger to another,

~ZabrinahZabrinahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05104827164689352857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2885272557817480838.post-163769537982456252011-12-26T17:30:47.860-05:002011-12-26T17:30:47.860-05:00Amen to this post!Amen to this post!Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08391820714511196977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2885272557817480838.post-32758324379043443452011-12-25T19:16:34.589-05:002011-12-25T19:16:34.589-05:00Those people are the WORST. So damn annoying.

I feel more satisfaction for something that I've actually earned as well, something that I've bought or obtained with my own money or volition. My car for example, is a prime example. I bought that thing with money that I had earned, and didn't borrow a cent from anyone to do it. Because it is in totality mine and mine alone, I feel that, and it's made me take better care of it and take pride in it, you know?

It's a damn good feeling when you obtain or achieve something through your own hard efforts.

Oh, and merry Christmas :P.Ashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18133073584012707168noreply@blogger.com
